Mid City Live is back! A dynamic comedy variety show featuring stand-up, sketch comedy, and live music by some of the region’s most talented performers. Inspired by the incredible creativity of Baton Rouge and the spirit of Saturday Night Live, this show delivers a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience that blends humor, character, and live performance all in one night.
Since its debut in March 2023, Mid City Live! has played to sold-out audiences across Louisiana, including performances at Boomerang Comedy Theater and the Manship Theatre in Baton Rouge, as well as Library Riot in Lake Charles and Cité des Arts in Lafayette.
Now in May 2026, Mid City Live! returns bigger than ever in collaboration with 225 Theatre Collective and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. This exciting edition features original cast members, special guest performers, and a live DJ.

This event benefits two incredible nonprofit organizations: 225 Theatre Collective and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, and is produced by Black Dress Productions, founded by comedian Gloria McConnell Passman, with a mission to create opportunities for local artists, performers, and creative communities.
Drinks will be sold throughout the night. Adult audiences only.
