Leave Your Soul On Stage by Jason Broux

On a stormy February night in 1978, aspiring journalist, Reggie Alexander conducts the interview of his life. A chance meeting leads him to a night with two of the biggest stars in America, Richard Pryor and Marvin Gaye. While Reggie attempts to probe the two men, he ends up searching his own soul and realizes he has more in common with them than he ever would have believed. The interview becomes a meditation on genius, art, pain, and insanity and Reggie would never view the two men, or himself, the same again. A stage play in three acts.
