Hosted by 225 Theatre Collective at The Wonderland Center for Performing Arts in Lafayette, this festival promises to be a celebration of the creativity and talent we have in Louisiana!

LA THEATRE FESTIVAL WORKSHOPS!
Intro to Improv: Loosen Up, Think Fast, Have Fun!
Step into the spotlight and discover the magic of improv! This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone curious about the art of improvisation—no experience needed. You’ll learn the basics of “yes, and,” build confidence, sharpen your quick thinking, and most importantly, have a blast with games and exercises led by the hilarious Silverbacks Improv Theatre.
Whether you’re a performer, creative, or just want to try something new, this class will leave you laughing, connecting, and thinking on your feet.
This class will be happening on the day of the Louisiana Theatre Festival at Wonderland Performing Arts Center in Lafayette, LA!

Musical Theatre Dance
Join us for a one-hour musical theatre dance workshop focused on the high-energy number “Transylvania Mania” from Young Frankenstein. In this session, you’ll learn dynamic choreography inspired by the Broadway production, build confidence in musical theatre movement, and sharpen your performance skills. All levels are welcome! Come ready to move, have fun, and explore a classic Broadway style in a supportive environment.
